Abstract

|
Motor unit action potential analysis a convenient method to differentiate myopathy and neuropathy. Authors performed motor unit action potential analysis with standard concentric needle on biceps and tibialis anterior muscles using Dantec Cantata EMG machine in 20 myopathic, 20 neuropathic patients and 20 normal persons with no symptoms, signs, and past history of neurologic disease, who showed no specific abnormalities in the physical and neurological examination.
